Featured YPSN profile

We asked her: tell us three things about you, the first three things that come to mind:

1. I LOVE COFFEE!

2. I LOVE MY KIDS!

3. I LOVE MY COMMUNITY!

What is your role?

My role is to be here for each family or community member that walks through these doors or calls us! Oh helloo i will say!

What is your favourite thing about YPSN?

There’s many. You walk in and it’s just so relaxing. It doesn’t have that stickler environment. Everyone is welcomed!

Tell us a bit about yourself?

I was born and raised here in Victoria by my mom who is of irish/ british decent and my late dad was registered with Songhees Nation, but he was raised in Haida Gwaii!

I have 3 children: Sophie age 8, Austin age 6 and Evangelene age 2.

I am a graduate of the Indigenous Family Support Worker program at Camosun College and I look forward to meeting everyone as they call or show up here at YPSN!
