Featured YPSN profile

Tell us 3 things about you, the first 3 things that come to mind

1. I drink a lot of coffee!

2. I have 4 teenagers! (  Editor's note: maybe that's why she drinks so much coffee!)

3. I love living near the ocean!

How did you first become involved with YPSN?

Petra and a young parent interviewed me and hired me as a Family Support Worker in 2006. I went on to become the coordinator of Perinatal and Family Support Programs in 2009.

What is your role now?

I am the Executive Director of YPSN. I feel really lucky to work for such an amazing organization, and every day I am inspired by the people (parents, kids, staff, volunteers) who make up the YPSN community.

What is your favourite thing about YPSN?

The remarkable people who come here. It’s an amazing community of people who value their children, and themselves, and want to make the world a better place.  How great is that?
